Hi there, and welcome!

HyperHeat is building electric high-temperature heating systems to replace fossil burners in the most demanding industrial processes, transforming an industry responsible for roughly 20% of global CO₂ emissions. We are at a point where it is about making hard technology work in real plants, under real economic constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and testing of prototypes and test systems
  • Assemble and install prototypes in the workshop
  • Conduct tests and document results carefully
  • Assist with the planning and setup of new test systems
  • Work with the engineering team to evaluate technical solutions and improve manufacturability and assembly
  • Optional: Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training (Technische Ausbildung) and relevant professional experience (relevante Berufserfahrung)
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing, and assembly
  • Fluent German (C2 level)
  • Driver’s license (Class B)
  • Independent and structured way of working and ability to collaborate effectively in a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., Inventor or similar)
  • Experience with high-temperature systems or furnace construction
  • Experience in experimental setups or special-purpose machinery
  • Qualification as a mechanical technician (Techniker Maschinenbau) or equivalent advanced technical certification (Techniker)
  • Communicative English language skills
