Mantel is a Series A startup backed by leading climate-tech venture capital firms. Mantel is developing the material solution to carbon capture. We have developed the only liquid phase carbon capture material that operates at high temperatures. Our molten borates enable new process designs that can increase thermal efficiency and reduce the cost of carbon capture and storage by more than 50%. Mantel’s solution will help to reduce CO2 emissions across a range of industrial sources including the generation of electricity with net negative emissions.

Mantel is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Administrator to support our Project Engineering team in the execution of a carbon capture project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Organize, maintain, and control all project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence. Ensure that documentation is systematically filed and easily retrievable.

  • Technical Support: Assist the engineering team by preparing technical documents, coordinating the review and approval process, and managing revisions. This includes handling requests for information (RFIs) and submittals as well as equipment and engineering services proposals.

  • Project Coordination: Facilitate communication among project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes to ensure all stakeholders are informed about project developments.

  • Quality Assurance: Regularly review project documents to ensure they meet the required standards and comply with relevant regulations. This involves checking for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.

  • Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on project progress, highlighting any issues or delays. Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, and change orders to track project developments effectively.

Required:

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a high school diploma and substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering and construction documentation, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and advanced experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Experience with Bluebeam Revu is preferred.

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong time management skills are essential to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.

  • ·Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
